Be Well Family Care, a Functional Medicine Family Practice in Carmel, is now seeking a Nurse to work in our busy practice. Hours will be full time. Candidates must be intelligent, dependable, eager to learn, able to multi-task, a good team player, honest, hard working, empathetic and have at least 2 years of experience working in the medical field. The ideal candidate will have some training in Functional Medicine and/or Family Practice and leadership experience is a plus. Will consider an LPN or RN. Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort patient to exam room, gather detailed patient history, measure vital signs, review medications, and document all information in patient medical chart.
- Answer, triage, and process telephone and portal messages from patients, other providers, pharmacies, etc.
- Give instructions and education to patients as directed by medical providers.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies.
- Handle Prior-Authorizations, Pre-Certifications, refills, referrals and other administrative tasks.
- Perform in-house testing like EKGs, Urinalysis, Strep Screen, Flu tests, mono tests, etc.
- Administer vaccines and injectable medications.
- Overseeing and training MA staff.
- Assisting in IV clinic.

Medical Assistant
Be Well Family Care, a Functional Medicine Family Practice in Carmel, is now seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. Candidates must be intelligent, dependable, eager to learn, able to multi-task, team-oriented, honest, hard-working, empathetic, and health-focused. The ideal candidate will have training in Functional Medicine and/or Family Practice. We will consider an MA or LPN. Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, gather detailed patient history, measure vital signs, review medications, and document all information in the patient medical chart

- Clinical skills including vitals, EKGs, and injections/vaccinations
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- MA, LPN, BA, or BS
- Familiarity with phone systems
- Computer proficiency required (Mac experience preferred)
- Previous medical experience required
- Functional Medicine or Family Practice knowledge is a plus
