Full-Time Experienced Front Desk Receptionist

Be Well Family Care is seeking a full-time, experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our Functional Medicine Family Practice in Carmel, Indiana. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, friendly, detail-oriented, and thrives in a patient-centered environment. You’ll be working in a beautiful, modern facility with a supportive and collaborative team.

Details:

Our Front Desk Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for patients. This position supports both our medical practice helping ensure smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone
  • Schedule appointments and help optimize provider schedules and room utilization
  • Maintain patient records, accounts, and accurate personal and financial information
  • Keep providers informed of patient arrivals and schedule changes
  • Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Assist with check-in, check-out, and scheduling for both medical and aesthetics services
  • Sell supplements, manage supplement store inventory, and ship products
  • Maintain office and reception area organization, including light cleaning as needed
  • Monitor and order office supplies and coordinate equipment servicing
  • Stay informed on all services and products offered by the practice
  • Upsell and cross-sell services thoughtfully, always prioritizing the patient’s best interest
  • Support team operations and assist with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous medical front desk or medical office experience required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with phone systems and scheduling software
  • Computer proficient
  • Professional, patient-focused, and team-oriented
  • Functional medicine knowledge is a plus

Education & Experience:

  • Some college coursework or a degree preferred
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting required
