Be Well Family Care, a Functional Medicine Family Practice in Carmel, is now seeking an experienced Medical Assistant. Candidate must be intelligent, dependable, eager to learn, able to multi-task, a good team player, honest, hard working, empathetic, and health-focused. The ideal candidate will have some training in Functional Medicine and/or Family Practice. Will consider an MA, LPN, or college graduate with experience. Four day work week! Medical Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort patient to exam room, gather detailed patient history, measure vital signs, review medications, and document all information in patient medical chart.
• Answer, triage, and process telephone and portal messages from patients, other providers, pharmacies, etc.
• Give instructions and education to patients as directed by medical providers.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies.
• Handle Prior-Authorizations, Pre-Certifications, refills, referrals and other administrative tasks.
• Perform in-house testing like EKGs, Urinalysis, Strep Screen, Flu tests, mono tests, etc.
• Administer vaccines and injectable medications.

• Clean criminal background check is a must
