Group Visits can be billed to your insurance provider like a regular office visit or you may cash pay, but you need to decide at the time of the visit. If you choose to bill insurance you will be responsible for any portion assigned to you by insurance like copays or deductibles. As always, copays and deductibles are covered by Stay Well memberships.

June 13th – All About Hormones

Hormone imbalances are at the root of so many underlying issues from fatigue and weight gain to fertility issues and more! Join Amy Goodpaster, NP and Learn ways to manage fluctuating hormones and restore balance by making changes in your diet and lifestyle. We will also discuss bioidentical hormone options and how hormones change throughout our lives.

June 20th – Tweens, Teens and 20’s – Skin Care

Come join Swathi Rao, PA-C and Becoming You Esthetician, Liz Hancock, as we explore how to keep your skin looking healthy and radiant throughout all of the changes in the tween, teen, and young adult years. We will discuss how to manage common skin concerns through proper care, good food choices and skin care products.  Each participant will receive a micro-facial and customized skincare recommendations.

July 11th – Performance Nutrition – Cooking for Athletes
6:30-8:00pm. $40 cash pay or patients can submit to insurance
Join Brandy and Caitlin Green as we explore how to eat before, during, and after workouts. Whether you’re training for a 5K, hitting the gym, or a high school athlete, it is important to have proper nutrition to optimize performance and to recover from exertion without sacrificing health. Come learn the basics of performance nutrition by gaining an understanding the role or macronutrients in physical activity and how to make sure you’re fueling your body properly to give you the stamina you desire. Caitlin is a Level 2 CrossFit coach and licensed nutritionist and health coach and also owns her own nutrition company, Lean Mean Green Health. Her gym, Mad Farmer Fitness, is opening in Carmel on June 1st.

July 18th – Reducing Toxin Exposure

Toxins! They are all around us. They are in our personal care products, our cleaning products, our food, our water, and even our air. Sure, we are meant to be able to handle a certain amount of toxicity. But our detox capabilities can vary widely based on genetics, diet, nutrient status, hydration, bowel movements, sleep, and so much more. Toxins can be obesogens, leading to weight gain, carcinogens, increasing risk for cancer, neurotoxins, affecting brain health, endocrine disruptors, affecting thyroid and other hormone health. Join Brandy and Dawn Parker as we learn about the many toxins in our environment and how to reduce your exposure for a healthier family and home. You’ll leave empowered with knowledge about the toxins in your unique home and actionable suggestions to reduce them.  Dawn received her health coach certification from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and her functional medicine certification from The School of Applied Functional Medicine. She is also nationally board-certified in Health & Wellness Coaching. Dawn lives in Zionsville and works with clients virtually throughout the United States.

July 23rd – Cardiovascular Health

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the USA according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Fortunately, there are many ways to reduce your chances of developing heart disease or improving your current condition. Join Swathi Rao, PA-C as we learn about the different conditions that affect your heart and vessels in your body, as well as different strategies to prevent disease and improve your cardiovascular health.

July 25th – Teens/Young Adults Can Cook- How do I Feed Myself?

You know you are supposed to eat vegetables and that healthy food is good for you, but do you know how to actually plan and prepare healthy meals? It is so convenient to grab a box of macaroni and cheese or a frozen pizza, but it really doesn’t take that much longer to prepare much healthier options. Join Swathi Rao and Be Well Staff as we share some of our favorite go-to recipes and learn some basic food preparation skills to help you take good care of YOU! This class is intended for ages 14-24.

July 30th – Sexual Health

Sexual health is complex and shaped by so many different variables. Things like hormonal changes, anatomy, stress, trauma, societal influences, relationships, ideations, overall health and past sexual experiences all can impact this important part of a life. In this class lead by Amy Goodpaster, NP we will discuss all of these variables and also ways that we can strengthen anatomy, balance hormones, and ultimately improve your sexual health and desire during all of the different stages of life.

PANIC & ANXIETY SERIES

6 Week Class Series: June 4th, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 2, July 9   
**We encourage everyone to attend each session in person. However, we are able to Zoom this class if you need to attend virtually. Are you feeling stressed, burned out, overwhelmed, don’t sleep well? Are you experiencing anxiety and panic that leads to symptoms of headaches, heart palpitations, tingling in the hands and feet, racing thoughts, etc.? The list of symptoms goes on and on.

Functional Nutrition for Your Pet – June 6th, 6:30-8:00pm. Cost: $40
Join local integrative veterinarian, Dr Natalie Olden-Stahl and Brandy Protz, PA-C, for a discussion about healthy eating for our pets. We will discuss how to choose diets, read labels, and add in fresh foods. This class is for humans only, but we will make some healthy treats to take home to our furry friends! Dr Olden-Stahl is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and is nutrition certified.

Growing and Using Microgreens – June 27th, 6:30-8:00pm. Cost: $50
Despite their small size, microgreens pack a nutritional punch, often containing higher nutrient values than more mature veggies. They are nutritious, offer many health benefits and are actually quite easy to grow yourself! Join provider Brandy Protz, PA-C as she discusses different ways to both use and grow microgreens to benefit your health. We will actually start a mini microgreen garden for you to grow at home.
