The Accent Prime Radiofrequency and Ultrasound is a revolutionary, non-surgical device that improves skin tightening and contours and tightens areas of the face and body, with no downtime or side effects. How does it work?
The Accent Prime uses controlled radiofrequency energy (RF) and ultrasound to heat carefully selected levels of the skin resulting in new collagen formation, fat cell breakdown and skin tightening. Dermal heating is an extremely effective alternative to surgery and does not damage surrounding tissues. It provides no downtime which means that you can return immediately to your daily activities with no discomfort or side effects. The combined ultrasound uses pond ripple-like waves which are dispersed homogenously throughout the treatment area. This technology selectively damages fatty cell membranes so that the fat components are then released in to the blood stream and are dispersed via the lymphatic system. This process is called ‘selective lipolysis’ and results in a fat reduction and contouring.
What kind of results should I expect with Accent Prime?
The Accent Prime is not a lose weight quick magic solution. Rather, you can expect skin tightening and contouring. Best results are found in those who have a BMI under 30 for most body areas. Radiofrequency of the skin of the face improves texture and increases collagen. It is appropriate for all body sizes.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a course of six treatments, two weeks apart. Treatment sessions can be repeated every 1.5 – 2 years for best results.
